Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated leader to join our Actuation Systems Procurement Team as Senior Manager at our Wolverhampton, UK facility. As a Senior Manager you, will lead a team of procurement professionals to manage the delivery performance of Thrust Reverser Actuation System (TRAS) components for current and future electric TRAS systems. In this role you will drive on-time delivery of the TRAS components to multiple global manufacturing sites following strict quality requirements. These supplier management activities may extend multi-levels to sub-tier suppliers due to the complexity of the components. You will engage in supplier performance, relationship management, and support strategic sourcing as well as facilitate complex business agreements in support of various contracts. You will successfully build a meaningful relationship with the suppliers by sharing common goals and promoting teamwork.
The successful candidate can expect to:
·Lead and develop a high performing team of procurement professionals supporting procurement activities of complex products
·Responsible for overall supplier performance and execution to support Advanced Structures Group (ASG) contractual and financial objectives
·Support plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements (technical and quality) in support of flawless supplier execution for our business
·Collaborates across functional organizations to develop solutions and ensure supplier performance supports the needs of the organization.
·Establish and develop strong business partner relationships with key stakeholders to drive accountability and performance.
·Communicates effectively and routinely on all supply chain issues, including performance to Directors, Vice Presidents, program teams and functional leaders
·Exercise strong business acumen to connect technical concerns to ultimate contract performance and proactively identify and resolve problems and customer concerns efficiently and effectively
·Monitor and evaluate metrics for trends and root causes and formulate proactive plans to ensure overall program success
·Travel may be required as conditions permit

What you need to succeed?
Essential Criteria:
·Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a high level of experience
·Experience in supply chain management or subcontract management, or managing multiple supplier accounts
·Commodity management experience
·Experience in an SAP based environment
Desirable Criteria:
·Experience working with internal and external leadership
·Solution oriented critical thinking skills
·Experience enforcing contractual terms and conditions
·Master’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, engineering, or related field
·Experience with all levels of management and individual contributors, and the customer
·Experience managing financial impacts of decisions on the organization’s budget and the program to include managing cost, schedule and/or performance
