Job description
What you will do in your working day
- Learning about child development and the process of how to observe and support children
- Encouraging children to learn through play, good communication is essential to support children's communication and language as it is one of the pillars of making sure children reach their full potential in school
- We do this via a range of methods, e.g. observing, and recording of individual child's learning and development
- Ensuring the health & well-being of all children at all times.
- Providing a safe environment at all times
The training you will be getting
Whilst working within the nursery, the Apprentice will work towards obtaining a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and completing a course for Level 3 Paediatric First Aid.
Nursery based on the Isle of Dog, small and friendly environment.
The training will take place via teams calls every 4-6 weeks with face-to-face observation sessions being held at the nursery so no day release to college will be required.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- On successfully completing the apprenticeship, if a permanent position is available it will be offered.
