Rate: £400 p/d - CIS

About the Company: Join a thriving Contractor committed to enhancing their delivery team during the AMP7 funding cycle. As part of the large framework portfolio, you will contribute to projects for Severn Trent Water, a key player in the water industry.
Role Overview: As a Project Engineer, you will collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and sub-contractors to ensure the successful on-site delivery of complex Non-Infrastructure projects in the water sector. This pivotal role involves working on challenging clean and wastewater sites spanning from Cheshire to Lancaster.
Requirements:
·Proven experience as a Project Engineer/Design Engineer in the UK Water Sector.
·Familiarity with both client-side and contractor environments, preferably with projects tied to UK Water Authorities.
·Strong background in project delivery, from inception to completion, with a focus on the back end of the process.
·Ability to package works, liaise with procurement, stakeholders, and sub-contractors.
·Design experience is preferred but not mandatory. Sufficient expertise to collaborate with design partners is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead the engineering process from project inception to completion, utilizing in-house resources and construction personnel.
·Ensure timely and budget-compliant completion of multiple concurrent projects.
·Collaborate with client engineering and operations staff to meet or exceed KPIs within budget constraints.
·Attend internal and external review and progress meetings.
·Ascertain design/project requirements and solutions, preparing estimates and quotations.
·Manage site safety, health, and environmental issues.
·Coordinate with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, in-house functions, and construction teams.
·Procure plant, materials, and specialist subcontractors.
·Conduct site visits, factory/site testing, commissioning, and client training.
·Compile final contract documentation, including "As built" drawings and test sheets.
·Assume overall responsibility for Profit/Loss on contracts undertaken.
·Establish and agree on price variations and final accounts.
