Overview
Rapiscan Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of OSI Systems, inc. designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Our products are used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles and other objects for weapons, explosives, drugs and other contraband. Rapiscan Systems security and inspection devices can be found in a wide range of locations such as, airports, border crossings, railway stations, seaports and terminals, government and military installations and nuclear facilities.
Rapiscan is currently seeking an experienced Service Supply Chain Manager to run and improve the current spare parts supply chain operations in Europe the Middle East and Africa working very closely with the global spare parts supply chain function and the other regional spare parts supply chains around the world.
Responsibilities - Coordinate Inventory Control in all EMEA Spare Parts Inventory Locations
- Develop and Manage the Spare Parts Inventory Planning (Demand and Supply) and Purchasing Functions (Responsible for Spare Parts Availability in EMEA)
- Manage and Improve the Order Management Function for Spare Parts – Outbound and Inbound Return Orders
- Run the Central Parts Distribution Center, the Forward Stocking Location (FSL) Network and The Repair Center Operations
- Manage the Transportation Vendors Cost and Performance
- Represent Spare Parts Supply Chain EMEA in Quality, Procurement, Product Management and Manufacturing Forums as Needed
- Assist In the Integration of The Spare Parts Supply Chain Globally
- Coach and Train Staff Insuring a Continuous Development and Growth
- Assist With the Creation of an EMEA Spare Parts Catalogue and Clean Master Data
- Assist with Redesigning and Redeveloping the EMEA Logistics and Repair Network
Qualifications - 10+ Years’ Experience in Supply Chain (Inventory Planning and Logistics Preferably)
- Strong People Management / Organization and Communication Skills.
- Excellent Project Management Skills
- High Independence and Motivation
- Proficient In Microsoft Office Software Especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability To Establish and Maintain Strong Relationships with Internal/External Resources.
- Solid ERP Software Experience
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred: Business, Foreign Trade, Finance or Supply Chain)
