Job description
Clinical role to include: venepuncture, specifically cannulation of fistulae. Administration of intravenous drugs. Knowledgeable and varied haemodialysis experience, used to support patient care decision making, in the absence of medical support. To teach, support and inform patients on dialysis and empower them to be as self caring as possible. Manage a set case load of patients and be responsible for their wellbeing. To directly consult with the registrar and consultant regarding patients care and be involved in the coordination of monthly clinics. To work autonomously in the nurse led satellite dialysis setting ensuring patients care and wellbeing is paramount. Please see attached Job Description for full details.
