Working within the Operations Team and reporting to the Operations Manager, the Logistics and Engineering Support role is a key position within the Company. The successful candidate will be completing basic engineering tasks on a day to day basis, as well as providing support to the Logistics team, who manage stock control and the goods in/goods out process.
Servicom are proud to be ISO 9001:2015 accredited and as such the ability to follow process is essential as well as offering solutions to improve productivity.
Working with the Logistics team to assist with the goods in and goods out processes.
Learn and develop an understanding of the engineering role.
Supporting the wider engineering team with day-to-day tasks.
Following set procedures as required and suggesting improvements to the processes.
Cleaning radio equipment and hardware.
Assist with stock control and changes/moves of equipment around the business.
Assist with the upkeep of Company equipment, stock and pool vehicles.
An interest in engineering and logistics.
The ability to work in a structured manor with a disciplined work ethic.
A clean UK driving license.
Good computer skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.
The ability to work as part of a wider organisational team.
Be able to pass a full enhanced disclosure (DBS).
Probation period: 3 months with an option to extend to 6 months, based on performance.
Start date: Immediate, This role is for an immediate start but we appreciate that notice periods have to be observed.
