The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a National Account Manager to join our Concrete Products team. This role will involve managing key contacts within one of largest accounts to achieve sales targets and overall business goals through the establishment, maintenance and improvement of business relationships and market knowledge, through designated routes to market and regions.

Who you are
- You will maintain an understanding and promote AI's strategic direction and gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding AI's current and future product range
- You will have experience of producing accurate ongoing forecasts and pipelines in line with customer trading agreements
- You will have a breadth of experience in generating, qualifying and following up on leads which wins new volume/revenue/margin in line with agreed targets
- You will develop and maintain a business plan for designated accounts and ensure key actions are communicated to and implemented by the relevant parts of the business and sales team structure
- You will identify appropriate product portfolios and marketing campaigns with the relevant marketing manager for each account
- You will identify targeted accounts within the market channel and develop profiles for these accounts
- You will maintain an understanding of competitive activity and capabilities relevant to the market place
- You will be experienced in driving the implementation of sales and marketing campaigns throughout the business structure
- You will Be proactive in promoting the full product range (cross promotion) to all customers within the market channel, as appropriate
- You will review dormant and prospect accounts and action accordingly
- You will coordinate, monitor and review all elements of each trading agreement/business plan
- You will ensure the Customer Records System is fully up to date with customer contact information and project tracking
- You will effectively communicate with Credit Services and assist in managing accounts, including the agreement of customer credit limits and collection of cash in line with group targets
