Carmichaels are seeking a Project Manager to join a major highways project in Gloucestershire
Location : Gloucester - site based
Contract : Permanent Fulltime
Salary : £65k - £75k + £6.1k car allowance + private healthcare + benefits
Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you'll work on the early stage on the A417 scheme and be responsible for supporting the senior leadership team with the buildability, programme, phasing, forecasting, overseeing all early site works and the main construction delivery.
Your day to day will include:
- Management of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality SHEQ) matters for areas of direct responsibility
- Support the Senior Project Manager's role and that of the site team
- Monitor use of resources in liaison with the Construction Manager to deliver the project to budget, programme and contract requirements
- Provide early warnings to the Scheme Lead on problem issues and potential overspends as soon as possible
- Provide assistance to the Scheme Lead on constructability issues during the planning phase of the project and manage the resource allocation for early construction activities that may take place during this phase
What are we looking for?
This role of Project Manager is great if you have:
- relevant construction related degree/HNC
- experience in a similar role on a construction major project
- CSCS card
- SMSTS
