As our Asset Information Manager, you’ll be looking at the data around what’s in our buildings and reporting on how assets are performing. You’ll also play a key role in defining when assets should be replaced, reviewing and comparing data to allow decision making.
You’ll be leading on unpacking the Asset data from Internal and External sources to inform on the asset’s performance and condition. We work in state of the art regional centre’s that will constantly be feeding data through which you will analyse to inform on the prioritisation of our Lifecycle Replacement Programme.

Job description
As our Asset Information Manager, you will be working in a newly developed team that are helping HMRC understand the impact of Asset Lifespans, and how we improve the way we are currently assessing these.
Working Alongside Daryl, you’ll be leading the Data Analysis of all our Buildings to inform capital investment, maintenance strategies and tactical planning. Due to the nature of this role, you’ll be working with teams all across HMRC to ensure all the property, condition and component information is robust, accurate and current.
We will support you as you work with suppliers to ensure any services relating to Asset Management are delivered in line with contractual obligations. You’ll also be working with external consultants to draft any briefs to procure technical services in relation to Asset Management i.e. condition surveys/feasibility studies.
Part of the role is to ensure processes, system links and reports are in place and are operating correctly, to support the effective management of asset data, including data provided by contractors and other external sources i.e. BIM, BMS, CAFM.
Person specification
We are looking for someone who is confident in auditing information and has a drive to develop their skills and knowledge within asset management processes. You’ll be solution orientated thinker confident enough to correct any potential errors and implement any improvements as a result.
We need someone who can support with developing a monthly report that details any risk, issues and financials for senior leaders to see updates on regarding the Strategic Asset Management Plan. You need to be confident enough to resolve any queries that may arise from this including any ad-hoc requests for information and advice.
