Senior Payroll Administrator

Hourly Rate: £17 – £21 per hour

Contract: Initial 3-month contract with a view to being extended

Work Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday.

Primarily Work from Home – 1 Day a week in Office

 

Our client, a Local authority in the South West of the UK are recruiting for a Senior Payroll Administrator on an interim contract. 

 

Role Brief: The role involves delivering a comprehensive payroll service to employees of  the Council, PPS and a number of Schools and Academies, The Payroll Team makes approximately 5000 payments per month.

-          The team operates within tight timeframes which contributes to the provision of an efficient Payroll service, with high regard to customer focus.

 

What we’re looking for:

•  3 years or more Payroll experience

•  Year-end experience

•  Overpayments experience

•  Payroll reworks

•  Excel Experience

•  Busy payroll and ability to work to tight deadlines and multitask

•  Payroll reconciliation

•  IPP Qualifications desirable, but not essential
