Job description

Looking for consistent work Monday to Friday? We have an upcoming opportunity to work with one of the UK’s largest waste management companies.

Based in the Sheffield area, you will be working with a small crew and taking responsibility for your own route.

Your daily duties will include manoeuvring the vehicle around tight spaces, ensuring the safety of pedestrians and property.

You will be required to check the on-board computer, monitoring the load so it does not exceed the weight limit.

Assisting the loading team at the rear of the vehicle will be essential during busier periods.

To apply for this role, you will need the following:

- A valid UK driving licence with C entitlement.
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- A valid CPC.
- At least 12 months Class 2 driving experience.
- No more than 6 points on licence
- No DD or DR driving convictions

You must always be vigilant and a strong team player. Demonstrating good communication and organisational skills.

This is an ongoing position offering regular full time hours.

This role will be available from mid March.

Starting at 06.30 you will be working Monday to Friday with a finish time of 15:00.

The pay rate for this role is £13.04, with time and a half paid after 8 hours per day. Any work on weekends or bank holiday is paid at double time.

You will also accrue holidays, up to 28 per year pro rata.
