Finance Director
We are looking for a highly motivated Finance Director to join a leading Northwest Professional Services Company whose headquarters is in Lancashire. Dynamic in your approach, you will have proven experience in delivering high-quality solutions.
You will play a central role in developing procedures, systems, and effective financial performance and analysis across the organisation to drive growth and operational effectiveness
You will help kick start a new chapter of organisational growth and facilitate the financial planning and forecasting processes to produce robust plans and dialog that assist the decision-making process.
The successful candidate will have
- ACA or equivalent, technically strong in accounting, reporting, and tax
- A strong commercial mindset with a focus on achieving targets and standards
- Experience in working in professional services
- Analytical thinking and progressive nature
- Proactive provision of solutions
- Strong bias for operational detail, but able to maintain the overall strategic perspective
- Excellent communication, both written, spoken, and in presentation
Experience
- Proven background and Finance Director, Group Financial Controller, or similar role in complex and changing businesses
- Experience of involvement throughout acquisition processes from assessment to due diligence to implementation
- Previous relationships at the Director level with Banks, advisors, and other stakeholders
- Proven demonstrable experience in developing credible strategies in finance
- Clear track records of delivering success
- Successful track record of generating innovative ideas and executing, them through challenging the status quo
- Proven excellent leadership skills, with the ability to influence
- Accountability / Making tough decisions
