Job description
*Please note you are required to live in or around Ipswich Woodbridge or Felixstowe for this role* thank you
Are you looking for a rewarding role with a supportive and well-respected employer?
Our care inspector wrote this about Right at Home Ipswich Woodbridge Felixstowe: " People were at the very heart of the service and the focus was on delivering first-class care. The philosophy and values were shared across the staff team ...One care staff member said, "The training is superb."
Our home care service is one of just 3% in England, rated as "Outstanding."
We are looking for a highly capable Administrator who can play a crucial part in supporting our office and Caregiver team. This is a full-time role at our Ipswich offices (Monday to Friday 0900-1700hrs). There is lots of training and career progression for the right person with a great attitude.
This environment can be fast-paced, the day is varied and your day will go quickly! You will be fielding queries from our lovely Caregivers and Clients. You will be updating digital care plans with urgent information, assigning Caregivers to Clients, conducting client review meetings, and introducing Caregivers to new clients. You'll be an empathetic and resilient 'people person' as you help ensure our Clients' (and Caregivers') needs are met.
Care experience is preferable but not essential, as we offer excellent training. However, proven IT skills in an office environment are essential, as everything is based around our digital Care Management system. So you should be confident using computerized systems. Being an Administrator is no longer about filing - we're paperless and systems-led!
All the team carry out Caregiver visits too, sometimes within office hours, and sometimes outside of hours to do our part in supporting the Caregiver team. So our Caregiver training is part of the role.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must be able to drive and have your own vehicle.
·Well organised, with excellent planning and prioritising ability with attention to detail.
· Good IT skills, able to learn a computerized rostering system.
· Great spoken and written communication skills with the ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
· Self-motivated with lots of common sense, with the ability to participate in a well-managed on-call rota, approx. 1 in 4 weekends and 1 evening a week.
· A willingness to embrace our high standards and processes which promote person-centred care.
We have a place for a caring, reliable team member who wants to be part of a really special team. So, if this sounds like you, we look forward to hearing from you!
