Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists is a large multidisciplinary referral hospital providing veterinary referral services across the South of England including London and the Thames Valley. Our specialist services include Anaesthesia and Analgesia, Orthopaedic surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Emergency and Critical Care, Oncology, and Diagnostic Imaging. The hospital is an ISFM gold feline clinic and was awarded the BVHA design award for an outstanding working environment. We are part of CVS (UK) Ltd, the largest provider of integrated veterinary services in the UK; the referrals division currently operates nine referral hospitals in the UK and Ireland. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic RVN who ideally has experience working in a referral setting as a neurology nurse to join our excellent and dedicated Neurology team. This role supports and works closely with the neurology clinicians, resident(s) and interns in providing a world-class service to clients, referring vets and the patients under our care. This is achieved through a collaborative approach to communications, efficient workflow, optimised patient care and rehabilitation. You will also be expected to help support other departments as directed by your line manager. Comprehensive training in Neurology will be provided. We have an 8 week induction process to help you settle into your new role and get to know the team and a Learning and Education Team Leader to help support with any further training you may feel necessary.
