Job description

A unique opportunity for a Residential Property Legal Assistant to join a longstanding multi- service law firm based in Preston has risen.

Within this role you will liaise with Solicitors, Lenders and Agents to ensure all cases are supervised and managed correctly. You will also effectively prioritise and manage your own workload.

This role would suit a Legal Assistant with a minimum of one years’ experience working within Residential Property who's aim is to continue developing their career within a reputable law firm who act for a diverse and long-established client base.

Duties to include:

• Liaising with/updating third-parties including lenders, solicitors and agents
• Drafting documents including transfer deeds and SDLT forms
• Carrying out searches
• Working as part of the Residential Property team, ensuring time management is consistently upheld and that deadlines are met
• Carrying out registrations and post-completion tasks
