Job description
Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Head of Epidemiology to join a brilliant non-profit organisation on a permanent basis located in London. Our client is focused on accelerating the development of treatments and the accessibility to them.

Key Responsibilities:
- For this role you will serve as a leader for a team of epidemiologists which involves devising epidemiological method for success and offering technical oversight to the team's participation to the disease programs.
- Offer high-level scientific and operational contribution into rare disease and vaccine trials to assure successful development of Phase II - III, and epidemiological study deliverables.
- Serve as a main shareholder and partner for epidemiology and data science group to offer technical direction to clinical development, research, regulatory and any other team shareholders internally.
- Assist with the development of RWE programs and recognise tactical partnership and strategic prospects for improvement to grow the effectiveness of the design, analysis and reporting of epidemiological and RWE studies.
- Any other assigned duties.
Requirements:
- Educated to an advanced degree level in an epidemiology, public health or similar field.
- Familiarity within an Epidemiological or Pharmacoepidemiological working setting in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Healthcare or Academic organisation.
- Expertise on RWE practices, Epidemiological or RWE study designs, Real-World data sources and analytical tools and Epidemiological analysis.
- Acquaintance with vaccine development in the pharmaceutical organisation or healthcare, which involves managing interactions with cross-functional teams and regulatory bodies, would be beneficial.
- Prior involvement within a line management or 'leadership' role.
