Assistant Accountant
Location; Kingswinford, Dudley, DY6 7TB
Contract Type : Permanent
Hours : Full time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours
Salary : £30,000 to £35,000
About the Role • Reporting: produce sales, production, stock movement and weekly financial snapshot report.
• Set-up customers/suppliers on Unleashed and issue invoices.
• Review customers credit limits as per Top-Service/Credit Safe.
• Cash collection and credit control.
• Send customer and supplier statements.
• Carry out supplier statement reconciliation.
• Process supplier invoices into Xero.
• Own stock control process and reported balance.
• Reconcile bank accounts.
• Obtain all expenses and credit card receipts and upload them when reconciling bank account.
• Send weekly payment run to Finance Director
• Collect and analyse financial data and input into financial reports.
• Provide ad hoc support as required.
About You • Previous experience in similar roles (manufacturing experience preferred by not essential)
• Have good Excel skills (ability to do VLookUps and Pivot Tables independently)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Have excellent attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Be a team player with the ability to work under their own initiative and pressure but comfortable to ask for support.
• Min AAT qualified and looking to start with ACCA or CIMA.
