Service Care Solutions is proud to be working with a leading provider in eye health services and a significant contributor to NHS cataract surgeries.

We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Scrub Nurse. Preferably with experience within ophthalmology, but not essential as training will be provided. As part of a dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to Ophthalmology patients. Which includes, patients undergoing eye surgeries, pre-operative assessments and post-operative support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of ophthalmic procedures, including surgery and patient preparation.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend shifts as required.
• Prepare surgical environments and ensure equipment readiness for procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with current NMC registration.
• Minimum of one year's experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centred care.
