Job description
The Employer is : HABITAT FOR HUMANITY IRELAND. Provide excellent customer service, handling customer queries. Sort donated goods including the pricing and barcoding of stock. Ensure a high standard of presentation, display and merchandising of stock. Support the Donations Collection Team with the collection of donations in the Habitat van. Be responsible for operating the electronic till system, including the booking of donation collections and processing payments. Working with the Store Manager and Supervisor/s to market and promote items through social media platforms. Assist with keeping the store clean and tidy and that health & safety regulations are adhered to. Attend appropriate training as required. Develop joinery and PAT testing skills, as need dictates..
Essential Skills
The Employer is : HABITAT FOR HUMANITY IRELAND. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. There may also be an opportunity to engage in Habitat for Humanity's broader work; this could include activities such as supporting with schools/youth engagement, practical work on Habitat’s House to Home programme or helping raise the awareness of the organisation at events.
