Job description

Principal Resourcing are seeking to recruit a calm and friendly SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnership Primary Schools based in Whitby, North Yorkshire.

The full-time role is available with immediate start for the right applicant and will provide ongoing support for groups of 2-3 SEND pupils with EHCP's in place and mild SEMH needs. Previous experience supporting children with a range of SEND needs is preferable, as well as experience in Makaton and Sign Language due to the hearing impairment of one of the pupils with additional learning needs. Due to the location of the role, ideal applicants will hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

The school are seeking a positive and resilient Teaching Assistant with the ability to adapt learning to meet the needs of pupils and provide an enriching and creative learning experience that caters the unique needs of pupils within your carer. A patient and nurturing approach is essential to ensure active engagement in lessons and positive progression across subjects. You will become part of a strong staff team that is committed to providing the very best for all pupils within a stimulating and fun educational environment.

You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role, depending on experience.
