Multi Trades Recruitment are currently looking for a Multi Trader to work with a reputable installation company serving Melksham and surrounding areas. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Multi Trader with a strong background in carpentry/joinery to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a versatile Multi Trader who specializes in carpentry/joinery to support our kitchen and bathroom installation projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for craftsmanship, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake various tasks related to kitchen and bathroom installations, including but not limited to:
- Carpentry work such as fitting cabinets, shelves, and worktops
- Joinery tasks including door hanging, skirting board installation, and molding
- Basic plumbing and electrical work as required
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with relevant regulations and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Multi Trader with a focus on carpentry/joinery.
- Strong carpentry and joinery skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Relevant trade qualifications/certifications would be advantageous.
