The Homecare Manager will support the Registered Manager of Harmony Community Care to provide home care services in accordance with the NISCC Standards of Conduct 2015, DHSSPS Statutory Regulations and RQIA Minimum Standards for Domiciliary Care Agencies. They must hold the minimum of a Level 3 in Health and Social Care and be prepared to work towards a level 5 in Management and Leadership for Health & Social Care Services with a minimum 3 years’ management experience in a relevant discipline. The post holder must have access to a car at all times and have a full driving licence. The post holder must be competent in verbal and written English. If English is not your first language then you may be required to sit an English test prior to any possible interview. The post holder must also be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, PPT and outlook. They should also be have a knowledge of social networking and the creation of social media posts. The post holder will be a resilient person with good interpersonal skills and an empathetic nature they will have the ability to communicate professionally and effectively at all levels and have an appreciation for good public relations. They will have a good knowledge of the regulations and minimum standards including general data protection regulations. They will be ambitious and possess strong leadership skills and be competent to provide effective training and supervision of care staff. The Post Holder in line with contracting and regulatory requirements must possess a level of physical and mental fitness that deems them competent to undertake the challenges of this post. .

Responsibilities

• To manage & oversee day to day running of the Agency ensuring that staff are trained & equipped to provide care to a good standard commensurate to their role.
• To provide good communication between stakeholders. To adhere to GDPR Regulations 2023.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum of Level 3 Health Social Care plus 3 yrs management experience in a relevant discipline. The post holder must have access to a car at all times and a full driving licence.
• The post holder must be competent in verbal and written English.

Desirable Skills

• Level 3 or above in Education and Training as well as a Level 4 or above in Health and Social Care is desired.
• Previous experience in domiciliary care provision. Previous training experience.
