Salary £23,631 - £24,044 pro rata

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Housing with Care to recruit to our Housing Support Assistant role on a part time basis .At present, we have a 30hr vacancy within our Holmes Gardens service in Broxburn.
The post holder will assist the Housing Support Worker to ensure tenants are supported to maintain their own tenancies. We are seeking Housing Support Assistant who share our values and will be compassionate and caring when supporting tenants. by ensuring a warm friendly and safe environment.
The post holder will be expected to work a rota over 7 days offering advice, guidance, personal care, practical assistance and emotional support to tenants.
You will work as part of a team who will ensure that all services are delivered flexibly and responsibly. The primary focus of this post is to contribute to the provision of a seamless service which will promote the independence, welfare and dignity of the tenants.
This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment
