Job description
Sales Manager – Birmimgham – £40,000p/a
We are seeking a highly professional motivated individual to tale on the role of Sales Manager at a premium event venue in Birmimgham.
You will have a strong commercial acumen, with the ability to drive the business forward to achieve all targets. You will be confident in managing customers and ensuring excellent working relationships.
Ideally have a hospitality background with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role.
The duties of the role includes:
• Maximising all sales opportunities through a structured, proactive approach to develop the overall C&E business • Developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans, in line with meeting the agreed monthly and annual sales targets
• Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by managing the sales team • Establishing and building professional relationship with key customer accounts
• Building and promoting long lasting customer relations with view to retaining business
• Building partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders • Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes • Providing weekly sales reports to senior management team • Proactively attending and representing the brand at related B2B industry events
• Ensuring all training and coaching of the sales team
The role includes responsibility for a team of 2, and will inlcude some evening and weekend work.
You will have exisitng sales management experience in event venue or hotel sales, both pro and reactive.
