Tes is supporting the appointment of a Executive Headteacher at a school in Brent.

The school are currently seeking an Executive Headteacher to join the Partnership, a leading independent special needs day school for pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder and other complex needs. As the Executive Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership and operational management for the charity to ensure educational excellence in teaching, learning, and pupil outcomes and to nurture the school’s unique ethos

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading the charity with a clear vision and strategic plan, ensuring the implementation of the school's strategic vision and values
• Taking charge of the overall leadership and management of the school, ensuring the highest level of governance, operational and financial management, and compliance with statutory requirements and educational and charity standards.
• Planning, organising, and managing the school's operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
• Leading and supporting the development of a high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils.
• Building and maintaining effective links with the local communities to enhance the school's reputation and engagement.
• Provide inspirational and values-based leadership to senior leaders, the workforce and Trustees.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of educational practices, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results. You should have a track record of driving improvement and achieving excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Qualified teacher status and relevant educational qualifications.
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of educational policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with staff, pupils, parents, and the wider community.
• Sound financial management skills to ensure the efficient use of resources.
• A passion for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

In return, the school offer a competitive salary in the range of £80,000 to £90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. You will also have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, with access to professional development opportunities.
