Job description
Design Engineer sought by successful and well established manufacturing business – using your knowledge/experience of design for such processes as sheet metal fabrication, castings, manual and CNC machining or stainless steel fabrications, you will be responsible for producing approval and manufacturing drawings for a range of products, including product development of existing and new products.
Formerly qualified in Engineering (ideally Degree or equivalent), and keen to be involved with a company which invests for the future in processes, products and technology, you must be a competent user of 3D CAD and have knowledge of creating Bills of Materials, parts lists, engineering change notes.
An academic grasp of Engineering should be backed up by a sound practical understanding of a manual and CNC machining processes, welding techniques and mechanical assembly and the production of jigs/fixtures.
