Located: Kensington
Looking for a gentle educationally focused nanny/governess. Someone who is a good communicator and will continue to develop and stay with the family long-term. Must have an education background, familiar with the British School curriculum and proven longevity in previous roles.
Duties:
All nursery duties,
Nursery drop offs and pick ups,
Spending quality time with the girl and improving her spoken language through reading and constant dialogue,
Planning and organising educational activities at home following the Early Years Foundation Stage,
Taking the girl to classes and outings,
Cooking balanced/nutritious meals,
Child-related household chores such as laundry and keeping all areas tidy and organised.
The girl attends nursery 3 hours a day, Monday-Friday, term-time only. During the holidays the nanny/governess will plan outings, trips and activities. In September the girl will attend full-time nursery but will still require a full-time nanny and are happy for the person to have some down time during the day. The family are looking for someone to become part of the family and follow the girl's journey into her school years.
Mum works from home a few days/week.
The position will start with the nanny/governess working on a Saturday and Sunday for a few hours to support the transition, moving into a full-time position once the relationship has been established.
Non-smoker.
Fluent English speaker essential for the girl's language and dialect development.
Salary: £60K+ gross/ annum, flexible depending on experience. Including bonuses.
