Role: Machine Operator / Multi-Spindle Setter
Location: Barnstaple
Hours: Rotating shifts 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday
Rate: £13.00 hour + overtime
Acorn by Synergie currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Machine Operator to join our client's production team based in Barnstaple.
The successful applicant will be responsible for changing the full range of tools on allocated machines to ensure full efficiency, quality and cost effectiveness are achieved, and will also train operators in the use of the machines, safety equipment, and products.
Applicants should:
* Be time-served, ideally having completed a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or NVQ III
* Extensive work experience as a Setter or opertor or general machine op or elec - mech build experience
* Have experience in a valve / pump / pipe and vessel manufacturer, making products for the oil, gas, petrochemical and power processing industries would be advantageous
