Job description

Job Title : Senior Estimator

Location: Knutsford hybrid working up to 3 days per week

Projects: Major projects across retail, education, leisure sectors

A growing and established Construction business are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join their North West team. With exciting growth plans, there is an opportunity to progress up the ladder very quickly into a management role.

Responsibilities:

- Managing the preparation and processing of quotations, tenders and bids.
- Preparing sub-contractor and supplier enquiries
- Evaluating material, labour and plant requirements
- Producing quantities for major building works to ensure pricing of the project is accurate
- Liaising with other departments within the business to establish project specification and reduce risk
- Attend meetings with clients and customers
- Assess tendering risks
- Measuring jobs from inception
