Job description
We are currently hiring for a Nursery Practitioner for our amazing setting in Sidcup (DA15). Our nursery aims to ensure that every child in our care has a nurturing , resourceful environment to be able to achieve their greatest potential emotionally, physically and mentally for children aged 3 months - 5 years old. We are located a 8 minute walk from Sidcup station and a 4 minute walk from all local bus routes on the high street.
We are on the look out for a nursery practitioner to join our setting in our toddler room looking after ages 2-3 years old. Our setting is also open between 7.15am-6pm.
As a Nursery Practitioner your main tasks and duties would include
Promoting high quality care in your room and across the setting
Planning and using the EYFS and other resources to bring fun and mind stimulating activities to the children
Observations targets are met daily and weekly
Build rapport and have great communication with other team members, parents/carers and other bodies that may enter the setting including Ofsted and local authorities.
Supporting staff and mentoring as and where you can
Most importantly be a good role model
Candidate Requirements:
Level 3+ in childcare
Experience within a setting
Able to manage a workload
Ofsted and EYFS knowledge
Happy to communicate with parents/carers and other governing bodies
