The Role - Behaviour Mentor
I am recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor to work 1-1 with children in KS3 and KS4 who have been removed from their school setting. Students are working at their key stage ability however they may have some behaviour or learning difficulties which may also require additional support academically and emotionally. As a Behaviour Mentor you will work in and out of the class managing behaviour and ensuring students are in class at the correct times, so they reach their full potential. The ideal Behaviour Mentor will have strong behaviour management skills and experience supporting children who have challenging behaviour.
The School - Behaviour Mentor
This Secondary school is an alternative provision for children in KS3 and KS4 who have been removed from their school setting maybe because of their behaviour or they may have a learning difficulty. The staff provide children with learning which is adapted to their interest and ability of the student. All staff have access to on site parking and the unit is located 5 minutes from the nearest station.
