About the job

We are recruiting for a Senior Systems Project Manager. Firstly and importantly youll be joining a welcoming and supportive team of experienced engineers who are passionate about supporting each other and our customers. The core business works on an exciting range of HV projects renewable energy ICP and EPC projects transmission & distribution commissioning projects and largescale railway electrification projects. We are rapidly expanding our team so its a great time to join the business.

The Senior Business Systems Project Manager will report into the Business Systems & Compliance Manager and will support the Systems Improvement Programme alongside the integration into OCU Groups systems and processes.

They will be responsible for leading and managing projects that cover business improvement software release and development projects and any agreed upon projects that support business operations.

They will be able to work independently and connect with relevant internal and external stakeholders as required.

They will provide innovative solutions to ensure the highest safety and performance standards are maintained through training and effective deployment.

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage business system improvement projects from initiation to review using relevant Agile/Prince2 methodologies.
• Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings and provide transparent project updates.
• Support and implement Change Management principles throughout project lifecycles.
• Understand business requirements offering effective solutions to recognized issues.
• Identify opportunities for improvement projects conducting feasibility assessments onproposals.
• Analyse data to support business operations highlighting areas for improvement.
• Manage and advise on Business Assurance Testing requirements.
• Support in data migration and transformation.
• Act as a subject matter expert in the software and tools used by the business providingfirstlevel support.
• Promote advancement of skills and system usage through the development of training sessions and materials.
• Monitor system usage and compliance levels to ensure good value for money and correct deployment.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks ensuring timely resolution of issues impacting project timelines.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and conducting postimplementation reviews.
• Undertake any reasonable request by the Business Systems & Compliance Manager the Senior Management and Executive Leadership Team.
• They should be able to travel to company locations and sites as required by the business.

What you will need to be successful:

• Project Management qualification: Prince2 APM Agile Scrum; or 2 years demonstrableexperience managing technical system projects.
• Demonstrable experience in defining business needs and writing technical documentationbased on conducted business analysis.
• Experience in Project Management software usage such as: MS Project SmartsheetAtlassian / Jira etc.
• Experience in data migration methodologies.
• Experience in using data analytic tools such as: Power BI Google Data Studio Tableau etc
• Experience using Microsoft tools: Excel Word PowerPoint.

Desirable

• Knowledge of a data analytics coding language: Python R etc.
• Change Management foundation.
