My client is one of the top performing water and sewerage companies in the UK, their Sustainable Operations and Engineering department completes a programme of water treatment, wastewater, and network projects across the region and they have a solid pipeline of design and construction work that will take them through to the end of 2025 and beyond. Job Description: This role involves providing design drawing support to a team of Temporary Works, Structural and Geotechnical Engineers, and the wider company's business. You will be producing structural and detailed engineering drawings, including RC detailing. You will need to ensure the drawings are delivered to the agreed quality, programme, and cost constraints. The team provide technical input, design and approval for construction works on the company's capital programme. This includes condition reports, foundation designs, temporary works designs and ground models. What do you need? If you join them as a Structural CAD Engineer, you will be expected to work within project teams to help drive the function’s development and to provide support to their small team. Requirements The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years' experience in a similar role with a good level of education and preferably a degree or HNC in a relevant discipline. Additional requirements:

• You will be experienced in producing drawings for buildings, structures and preferably water infrastructure projects.
• You will have the ability/willingness to learn to produce short simple structural calculations.
• You will have excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, with a working knowledge of CADs RC (or similar). A working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit would be advantageous.
• You will have strong IT and communication skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word, and a diligent and thorough approach to work.
