Role: Sessional Worker

Location: East Sussex, with a focus on Eastbourne and surrounding areas

Anchor Foster Care is currently recruiting a Sessional Worker who has experience of supporting disabled children. This will be home based covering the East Sussex area, with a focus on Eastbourne.
This is a ‘casual’, hourly paid role. Hourly Rate starting from £12.50, negotiable depending on the needs of the child you will be supporting and higher at weekends and bank holidays.

We are keen to hear from people who have experience:
• Working with children and young people who are disabled or have complex needs
• Working with children and young people to build self-esteem
• Supporting children and young people to maintain contact with birth families and siblings (transporting children, supervising contact etc.)
• Caring for or supervising children and young people (respite/emergency)
• Attending and reporting on meetings involving children and young people
• Helping with events and activities during school holidays

You will need to be available to work flexibly; this will include school holidays, after school and at weekends. You will also need to have a driving licence and your own car.
