Job description
We are seeking a committed, flexible HR professional to play a key role supporting the full range of HR generalist activities at St Swithun’s during our HR advisor’s maternity leave. The HR advisor contributes to all HR activities, including employee relations, HR projects and absence management as well as general HR administration. The role holder will also support the HR administrator with recruitment activities.
The successful candidate will keep up-to-date with HR matters, and have a good understanding of employment law. You will also be able to form strong working relationships with colleagues across the school community.
Our preference is that the HR advisor (maternity cover) role is worked full time, the usual hours of work are Monday to Friday 08.30 – 17.00 all year round. We may consider a candidate looking to work 0.8 of full time, either with a day off each week or with shorter working days. We may also consider a candidate who would prefer reduced working during the school holiday periods. Please note that this role is based primarily on-site, some flexibility to work from home may be considered.
