Job description
A great new role for an Application Software Engineer is now available to join our client from early 2024. As the Software Engineer you will work with a team to deliver on Engineering projects in support of EMEA strategy.
The role is remote working but for meetings and occasional interface with the wider team, the HQ is based in Salisbury.
Key requirements of the role include:
Demonstrate aptitude and desire for growth in software engineering
Deliver high quality work on time
Develop an understanding of the company products, software tools and processes
Identify areas of improvement and work with the team to create lasting solutions, in support of engineering and organisational excellence
Primary skills and experiences we are looking for in a Software Engineer
Application development experience (Embedded, Cloud or Mobile )
Proven track record of developing applications to high standards
An understanding of development methodologies
Familiarity of protocol stack development
Knowledge of Linux, MS Windows & Office and Agile development
Problem solving skills
Ability to work remotely and unsupervised
Whilst it is an advantage to have experience in the industrial, marine or mobile markets; as a minimum we are looking for 1-2 years of experience in a SE role.
