Job Description:
As a Front End Software Developer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web applications. You will work closely with the design and back end development teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality. Your primary focus will be on implementing responsive designs, optimising application performance, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility. Additionally, you will collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into interactive web pages.
Responsibilities:
Develop responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into functional web pages.
Implement front end components and features based on technical specifications and user requirements.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across various devices.
Work closely with back end developers to integrate front end components with server-side logic.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Stay updated on emerging front end technologies and best practices.
Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or QA team.
Continuously improve the usability and user experience of web applications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with front end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility, and SEO principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with UI/UX design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD) is a plus.
