Robert Half Cambridge are delighted to have been engaged on a retained basis with Sabert UK, a world leading packaging business based in Kimbolton, who now due to growth seek an experienced Cost Accountant to join their Finance Department.

Sabert UK is a manufacturer of sustainable packaging solutions for the food and food to go markets. Sabert UK offers a comprehensive range of off the shelf or bespoke printed packaging products made from sustainably sourced materials.

The ideal applicant will be a high potential candidate who is looking for the opportunity to grow within an organization. This role is paying up to £45,000 and is based in the Kimbolton office on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for system standard costing and manufacturing costing.
• Product creation and product costing
• Close working with Belgium Finance in budget production
• Manufacturing performance reporting and analysis of gaps
• Development of KPIs around service, quality.
• Profitability reporting and analysis (Monthly Business Review)
• Production capacity reporting and analysis

Skills and qualifications:

• You have a minimum of 2 years of successful experience of managing costs of operations in the food service packaging industry or in the printing and packaging industry.
• Financial qualification (AAT Level, part qualified or similar)
• Excellent analytical skills. Ability to manage a large amount of information.
• Strong skills at data extracting and reporting. Expert level on Excel (Pivots, Vlookups etc.)
