Birmingham Permanent £35,000 - £40,000 per year
My client is a global leader in natural resource technology.
Key responsibilities of the Accountant will be full bank/cash pooling reconciliations, providing SSC with weekly cash forecasts for the following week for all accounts within the cash pool, managing and reconciling upload of employee expenses, close interaction with procurement and accounts payable, full responsibility for intercompany reconciliation, full ownership of accounting ledger for month end, HMRC Tax Returns - VAT, PAYE, Fuel duty etc and uploading modules into the consolidation tool for month end.
The successful candidate for the Accountant role will be Part Qualified in CIMA/ACCA, have a good understanding of UK Accounting principles, the confidence to challenge where necessary, have an analytic approach to all tasks and good financial systems experience.
