Our client, a reputable small animal hospital located in the vibrant port city of Sunderland, is seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their dynamic team. With a population of approximately 280,000 people, Sunderland is easily navigable, yet bustling with activity every day of the week.

Our client is seeking a confident and adaptable veterinary nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, diverse environment. You will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care to your patients, participating in consultations, in-patient care, medication dispensing, and assisting in surgeries, including schedule 3 procedures. Strong communication skills and a willingness to share knowledge and lead by example are essential.

You will join a team of highly skilled professionals with a wide range of clinical interests, ensuring you have access to a wealth of knowledge and expertise to discuss cases and develop comprehensive treatment plans. The hospital is modern and well-equipped, featuring separate dog and cat kennelling facilities, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases, and extensive orthopaedic equipment.

The Role:
• Full Time role - 37.5 hours per week
• Weekend rota and OOH with enhanced pay and stand down time in the week when a weekend is worked
• Flexible working patterns
