About the role
The Payment Manager leads the Payments function and works closely with the wider organisation to ensure that all payments made are fully and correctly recorded on a timely basis, comply with the internal and external regulations, and reconcile to the books of account.
About you
You are a part-qualified accountant with strong team management skills, excellent communication and analytical skills, and tracked experience of working with SUN system and in multi-currency environment.
Lead and manage the Payment function covering all payments and grants made from the organisation.
* Ensure payments are made in accordance with client policies
* Ensure procedures are followed in accordance with legal and statutory requirements
* Provide guidance to all staff on the use of payment related systems and processes
Experience requested:
SUN Systems (with Q&A) and Accounts Payable function
* Experience of bank and general ledger account reconciliations
* Team Management
* Part qualified accountant or qualified by experience
* Experience and knowledge of Gift Aid
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience of working in multiple currencies
