SEN Teaching Assistant & SEMH Teaching Assistant Roles North Manchester
Cover People are currently recruiting for a KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a role in a Primary School in Manchester M9, to start ASAP & 2 X SEMH Teaching Assistants in M8 to start ASAP.
The Roles
A School in North Manchester, is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to provide to support to a variety of pupils across KS1. The role will be to work 121 predominately with a pupil in Y1, but you will also be asked up on to support other pupils in KS1 on a 121 or in small groups. Running small group interventions in core subjects as well as helping pupils with delayed learning difficulties who may be working at lower levels. The pupils will have ASD and ADHD. Good behaviour management skills will be key to the role as well as the ability to build strong relationships with children. Experience of working with ASD and ADHD is an advantage. The candidate is expected to be able to lead and take charge when working with the small groups however be able to form relationships with pupils to ensure engagement, commitment and development.
