An opportunity to manage the records, applications and communication needs of a small conservation charity and in doing so provide essential administrative support.

What will you be doing?

An important aspect of running a small conservation charity is attention to detail and the recording of meetings, projects and plans. We are seeking a voluntary secretary who will manage those important and essential administrative aspects that will enable our charity to continue to meet the standards that enable us to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience of nature and natural surroundings for wildlife and visitors alike. An additional aspect of what we do is our work with volunteers of all ages and abilities to provide volunteering opportunities for those looking to use or gain skills related to ecology and conservation on a short or long term basis.

You will have good organization skills and the administrative experience and expertise required to support current trustees with all aspects of running the charity from planning and project management. From contacting other organisations to preparing minutes for meetings you will be able to meet deadlines and engage well with our supporters and partners and help us to develop stronger links and communication pathways that will enhance the educational aspects of our work and promote the benefits of volunteering in conservation and the creation of wildlife habitat.
