The role of Test and Validation Engineer   will be responsible for the following areas:

• Executing test plans to prove functionality, performance and durability using both internal and external facilities
• Develop and write test cases, utilising new and standard test methods to satisfy project requirements
• Assist with preparation of test rigs and equipment; set up of data acquisition systems and software; creation of automated rig control scripts
• Complete data analysis and draw conclusions from test data to produce engineering test reports
• Identify areas of opportunities for improvement in functional test areas including rig upgrades and processes

We will be excited to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following skills for this Test and Validation Engineer role:

• A degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience
• Ability to work effectively in a high paced and demanding environment
• Experience in the use of dynamometers and laboratory equipment to set up and carry out tests
• Experience in testing motors, MCUs or other powertrain systems
• Strong analytical and judgement skills including the ability to troubleshoot and advise on solutions in the area of testing
• The ability to use MATLAB or NI tools to perform data analysis and ability to create custom analysis scripts
