Job Title: Service Manager
Location: Sale, M33
Salary: £31,291 - additional payment of £30 per night for on call cover
Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a shift system, which includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. 5 days per week

Our client is a small Charity that offers support to Young People and Adults with Learning Disabilities and life limiting conditions who require intensive support.
About You:
We are seeking individuals who are caring, compassionate, and hands-on to join our clients team.
Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year Supervisory experience, particularly with individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours, and must possess a full UK driving license. Candidates must have a level 5 QCF in care or equivalent/higher or be willing to work towards this award.
* Experience of working as a manager within the care sector; working with children and/or adults with physical and learning disabilities is desirable but not essential.
* Experience providing personal care and support and the administration of medication.
* Experience of managing staff and taking responsibility for performance/standards of service delivery.
* Experience of assessing the needs of vulnerable people and developing effective risk management plans and support plans.
Your Role:
The main purpose of the job is to assist senior management to deliver services within residential settings for adults who have learning disabilities and complex health needs. The Service Manager will work to fulfill our clients responsibility to meet the physical, emotional and intellectual needs of service users who have profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex health needs.
Service Managers work a system of duty, which includes evenings and weekends in line with the needs of the Service and Service User demand.
