Job description
We currently have an opening for a Facilities Assistant to join our busy Estates Team. You will work as a member of the team providing support to the operation of estates and facilities service on any of the College sites. You will carry out routine and re-active duties as directed by the Facilities Services Coordinator, this will include duties such as monitoring and maintaining accommodation and furniture condition, dealing with emergencies and providing portering and delivery services.
The right candidate must have experience and basic knowledge of the following: DIY, plumbing, carpentry and electrical.
Applicants need to demonstrate sound numeracy and literacy skills, the ability to communicate and relate to other staff and students and the ability to work as part of a team.
