Location: Hybrid (Head Office: Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne)
This is a hybrid working role, so you’ll need to be able to work from our Head Office one day per week.
Hours per week: 37
Salary: Up to £40,884 depending on experience
About the role
We’re excited to be looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join our PR and Communications team (which sits within the Brand, Communications and Partnerships directorate).
You’ll be joining a vibrant team of communication specialists with roles comprising of content and copywriting, PR and media, and external communications and events. The team exists to strengthen NCFE’s reputation and brand internally and externally through a programme of consistent, innovative and thought-leading communications. Through this, we also support the development of a truly connected and collaborative workforce of engaged colleagues .
This role will give you the opportunity to shape and implement our future internal communications, helping our employees feel informed and connected to our charitable purpose. You’ll be responsible for advising, guiding and introducing new practices to support with effective employee engagement, translating business requirements into exciting content for all colleagues. This will be achieved through newsletters, emails, intranet content, events and more – ultimately, we’re looking for an individual who will bring bucket loads of creativity to build on these existing channels and techniques!

You’ll have the opportunity to work with teams across the whole organisation at all levels – from People Services to Policy, from Innovation to Transformation. You’ll develop in other areas of communications by working with a mix of specialists in this area.
