Job description
An opportunity has arisen to join an established small team within the Retrofit division of a construction consultancy based across Devon and Somerset, working closely with social landlords to improve the efficiency of their property portfolio.
The position as a Retrofit Coordinator primarily focusses on making recommendations to the social landlords regarding the energy efficiency of their housing stock.
Further responsibilities would include:
- To manage the retrofitting projects from inception to completion
- Developing retrofit plans to set out the necessary steps and timescale to improve the energy performance of the properties
- Creating and managing a schedule of works to ensure work is delivered according to specified time frame
- Generating effective costings relating to works needing to be carried out
- Working with the Retrofit Assessors, contractors and the client to make appropriate suggestions to the housing stock

The ideal person:
· Experience within the construction/ property sector, such as in a surveying/ clerk of works context
· A qualification in a construction related discipline
· A driving license
· Retrofit qualifications are desirable but not essential due to training offered
