Job description
Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager required to join a global pneumatic manufacturer.
The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager will cover the South of the UK selling and managing key accounts within the Pneumatic sector via distribution channels and end users / OEM channels.
The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager will ideally have experience selling, servicing, manufacturing, or managing key accounts within the Fluid Power sector such as Pneumatics, Valves, Cylinders, Actuators, Fitters, Pumps, Filtration, Compressors, Vacuum Systems, Filtration, Blowers, Hydraulics, or similar MRO / Mechanical engineering products.

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager Role - Managing a number of key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers in various industries.
- Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling various Pneumatic related products such as valves, actuators, fittings, cylinders, compressors, vacuum systems, hydraulics, and other pneumatic / MRO products within the fluid power industry.
- Maintaining Pneumatic sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
- Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
- Work remotely, covering the West Midlands.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager Requirements - Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within Engineering.
- Experience selling or servicing Fluid Power equipment such as Pneumatics, Valves, Cylinders, Actuators, Fitters, Pumps, Filtration, Compressors, Vacuum Systems, Filtration, Blowers, Hydraulics, or similar MRO / Mechanical engineering products.
- Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering Distributor.
- A technical Engineering Degree would be advantageous.
- Full clean driving license.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across the West Midlands.
