Job description
Senior React Developer
A great new opportunity has become live for a Senior React Developer to join a market-leader in Banking software. They are currently on a journey of modernisation, which includes transforming the existing server and desktop-based applications into a single web-based solution.
Being part of the growing platform team, you will play a key role in transforming legacy user interfaces into modern, efficient, and scalable UIs built with React.
Responsibilities would include:
- Leading the conversion of existing user interfaces to React, ensuring high-quality standards
- Collaborating with back-end teams
- Participating in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high code quality
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to other team members
The right candidate will have/be:
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience working with React
- Strong TypeScript skills
- Ability to use initiative with good attention to detail
- Any knowledge/experience with Java would be advantageous but is not essential
- Understanding of Next would be beneficial
With one of the offices based in Cambridge, you can expect to visit around once a week.
In terms of package on offer, you can expect a salary of up to £70k along with a great benefits package.
